1796 S-95 R5+. VG-8. Draped Bust. Sharpness F12 with very fine roughness covering the fields and protected areas. The roughness is offset by a rather glossy patina of light olive brown. There are faint traces of greenish verdigris in a few of the shallow pitmarks, including a small patch high on the cheek. A rim bruise at LI is the only notable contact mark. The date and legends are complete and strong. Not perfect but still a decent example of this rare variety. MDS, Breen state I.
