Hussey, James (American, b. 1936) Baseball & Basketball. Lot of two monotypes, comprising paint, print, xeroxes, and ink and crayon. Each with colorful composite views conveying the business/action and excitement of the game. Each signed lower right; print size: 30" x 21-1/2". Lot of 2 prints.

Hussey was born and educated in New Orleans, and upon completion of his schooling, he began a career in the world of business. Later he decided to leave this career. In 1972 he attended the John McCrady School of Fine Arts. Although he has pursued a number of art styles, his lushly detailed renditions of the Old South is what he has achieved most fame for.
