Reagan, Ronald. ALS ("Ronald") on personal stationery, 1p, 10½" x 7¼" (Los Angeles), 1977 Dec. To Sam, Bertha, and Buzzy Sisco, two sisters and a brother from Heraldsburg, California, who began corresponding with Reagan in 1972 when he was Governor. Extremely fine. In part: "…It still isn't Christmas but we have to admit we've seen our gifts & they are beautiful. We knew what they were so we didn't wait for Christmas morning. We are so grateful to you and cant wait to show them off. Please accept the enclosed as a Christmas gift from Nancy & myself….You are in our thoughts & prayers…." The gifts to the Reagans were likely belts, since that is what the Siscos made. A choice example written in bright red and accompanied by the original transmittal envelope.
