1888 $1 Gold Indian. PCGS graded MS-66. Frosty and untoned. 15,501 coins minted. The otherwise sparkling gold luster flares into heavy frostiness in a few areas with rolling radiance across both sides, typical of the well-preserved gold dollar. Our observation of the luster ends. But pertaining to the devices, this coin was struck with methodical precision throughout, a real "plus" for the collector. Pop 92; 36 in 67, 4 in 66 (PCGS # 7589) .
