Lot 3052

1921 High Relief. PCGS graded MS-65 High Relief. A blast white frosty mint gem. Fully original with silvery radiance. Sheer boldness of strike throughout would be the ideal for any 1921 Peace dollar, but this coin failed to strike completely and was left by the rebound of the dies in a somewhat soft state at the central part of the hair and on the eagle's wing. This is often the case even for the highest quality 1921 Peace dollars, however. Pop 1001; 142 finer (all varieties) (PCGS # 7356) .
Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,600.

Realized $2,070
