Macedonia. Under Roman Rule, after 168 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.84 g). Macedonian shield with right facing bust of Artemis at center, bow and quiver at shoulder, bordering star and crescent motif. Reverse: Club of Herakles within oak wreath; ethnic and monograms above and below. SNG Asmolean 3297. Slight russet-gold toning in the recesses. A nice Very Fine.
