(1795) Washington Liberty and Security Penny Breen-1254. SEGS graded EF-40 Holed. Variety with the usual ASYLUM edge. A bit sharper but there are a few nicks on the upper part of the head, a dull nick on the nostril, and a larger dull mark on the General's chest. A moderately sized hole was drilled through the W in WASHINGTON. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth with a glossy chocolate and steel brown patina and hints of bluish steel overtone, most likely from an old cleaning. EAC grade net VF20 but holed.
