1872 Nickel Three Cents. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo PQ. A nice brilliant Premium Quality example of this better issue from the early 1870s when mintage figures were low and survival of choice Proofs hit-or-miss. Lovely cameo frosted devices. Approximately 950 proofs struck. Pop 11; 17 Finer, 12 in 65, 5 in 66 (PCGS # 83768) .
