1786 Vermont Landscape Type. . Ryder-8 Rarity-4-. PCGS graded VF-20. Type with VERMONTENSIUM in legend. Slightly glossy chocolate brown with medium brown toning on the devices. No corrosion or verdigris. The only marks are some small, shallow planchet voids (as nearly always seen on these landscape types). None of the voids is significant and the overall eye appeal of this example is quite nice for the grade. The strike is uneven with minor weakness on the lower right quadrant but details superior to the assigned VF20 grade over the upper left quadrant. The date is strong and the legends are complete. An attractive mid-grade example of the rarest of the three VERMONTENSIUM varieties.
Estimated Value $750 - 1,250.

Realized $1,093
