Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AR Sela-Tetradrachm (14.07 g), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-711. Facade of Temple, Ark within, star above; Hebrew around ("Shim'on"). Reverse: Lulav, with etrog to left; Hebrew around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 711; Mild. 82 (44 examples cited). Nice round flan, but slightly tight. Overstruck on an Antiochene tetradrachm, the standing eagle evident on the reverse. Obverse choice, with much underlying luster. About Extremely Fine.
