1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Large date and letters. . O-102. NGC graded MS-64. Lightly toned with a blush of pastels and somewhat of a soft strike. Another lustrous, attractive bust half dollar for the Type set collector since it is an affordable variety (Rarity-1). On the obverse, the date has a recut 3. On the reverse, 50C is close, about three-quarters of a millimeter. I is entirely left of the stand of T (PCGS # 6164) .
