1852 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. MS-62. Choice rose-gold toning on both sides. Somehow, everyone forgot to clean, hairline or otherwise "improve" this one during the past 150 years. This state of affairs is extraordinary today, where virtually every surviving coin shows evidence of harsh cleaning or heavy hairlines in the fields. To see frosty undiminished luster is a real pleasure, be sure to view this one before the sale as the lucky collector who buys it will no doubt always cherish this piece.
