Lot 1983
1924 $20 St. Gaudens. ICG graded MS-67. We don't see a lot of difference between this and some nice 66s we review, but there's no denying it's Superb. Very boldly struck with a deeply detailed portrait of Liberty. Wonderful--just wonderful--satiny shimmer and gold color. Has to be one of the nicest around of this date.
