1785 Nova Constellatio. Pointed rays. . Crosby 5-E Rarity-3. VF-35. Choice glossy chocolate and medium brown. Virtually perfect except for a few tiny planchet chips near the rim at the bottom of the obverse, the largest one at the rim over the second T in JUSTITIA. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and the eye appeal is excellent. The date and legends are complete and clear. Late die state. At the lower end of the condition census. Weight 125.4 grains.
