1773 Virginia Halfpenny with Stop following S. . Breen-180. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Frosty medium steel brown with faded mint color covering the protected areas. A small spot of reddish chocolate brown toning in the field close behind the head is the only mark. Variety with 7 harpstrings. Most likely from the famous Colonel Mendes Cohen hoard dispersed between 1860 and 1929. PCGS population 62 at this grade with 6 finer.
