1922, $1,000 Gold Certificate. CGA graded Very Fine 35. . Fr-1220. . KL-1006. Only about three dozen examples of this rare Fr. number are known, with this about in the middle grade-wise for the issue. This note is listed in the census as "VG-Fine," at which grade it appeared when it last sold on a fixed price list in 1977 -- a good example of how grading standards have changed over the years. It certainly appears to be accurately graded by today’s standards, and is attractive with a bold orange-gold color on the back.
