1798 Draped Bust Cent. . S-183, R5+. VG-7 Style II Hair with Small 8. Very slightly sharper with some nicks on the throat and a dull rim nick or planchet chip under the 8 in the date. Glossy chocolate brown with overtones of lighter greenish olive brown on the reverse. MDS. The bottom edge of the date flows into the rim below, as usual on this variety, but everything else is complete and clear. Called VG8 net G6 by Noyes, his photo #28540.
