1796 Draped Bust Cent. . S-106, R5-. About Good-3. A couple points sharper but covered with microscopic roughness under a mostly glossy dark reddish chocolate and medium brown patina. Pinscratches cover much of the field behind the portrait and lighter hairline scratches cover the remainder of the obverse, but all blend nicely into the natural patina. The date is weak but readable, LIBERTY is clear, and the reverse legend is nearly complete.
