1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath reverse, vine and bars edge. . S-9, R2. NGC graded AU-53. Slightly glossy medium steel brown. No defects other than the usual assortment of tiny contact marks consistent with the grade. The only notable marks are a tiny planchet chip near the dentils well right of the Y in LIBERTY and a very light and barely visible rim bruise over the left side of the M in AMERICA. Nicely struck and well centered showing full border beads all the way around both sides. Later die state, Breen state VII, with strong die cracks at RICA, UNIT, and through the bottom of the wreath. EAC grade VF30.
