1936 York Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. First generation holder. Lightly toned, a satiny gem of this popularly collected Type. York County, Maine (located at the bottom tip of the state) would seem to be the last place anyone would expect to be commemorated on the United States coin. It bears the distinction of being the first county in Maine (PCGS # 9449) .
