1879-CC Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-64 DPL. Brilliant white surfaces. Thoroughly frosted, as are many high quality Morgan Dollars from the Carson City Mint, this is a splendid MS64 example of a semi-key issue. The swirling silver-white iridescence is seen on both sides, while the striking detail is bold throughout. Minimally abraded, particularly is this the case on the smooth cheek, and an important survivor from an original mintage of just 756,000 coins. Pop 11; 1 finer in 65. (PCGS # 97087) .
