1921-S Buffalo Nickel. NGC graded MS-65. Well struck with lovely golden toning on both sides. Very choice. Although essentially brilliant, the smooth, satiny surfaces show a decided tinge of iridescent color cast at certain angles. And unlike the general run of S-mint pieces of this caliber, particularly the scarce 1921-S, the strike is thoroughly convincing in all places, even where some weakness is usually found at buffalo's head, horn and tail.
