A Motherload of Spoon Delights for the Collector. U.S.A., and Worldwide, c. 1900-1980's. A dream assemblage of U.S. collector and novelty spoons. A wide variety of spoon types and shapes, and sizes are represented. Among the antiques: one from the Panama Pacific Exposition, 1915; a silver plated demitasse spoon displaying the battleship Maine; an unusual combination long spoon and bottle cap opener from Chicago's Morrison Hotel -- then the "World's Tallest Hotel." Bicentennial material is also to be found. Also pieces from Coca-Cola, and items from Walt Disney and Disneyland (dating from the 60's to 80's). Also lots of spoons with a British slant. The bulk of this vast collection is chrome plated steel, a few older ones in silver plate, and a few in copper or pewter. Peruse carefully, there is much here that is sure to please. Lot of 750 plus items!!!
