Bronze Plaque for a Hunting Fancier. Continental, late 19th or early 20th centur. Near the edge of a pond, against a backdrop of cattails, an English pointer stands in characteristic pose, his gaze fixed on game off to the left. The plaque well made and sculpted, although lacking a visible artist's signature. Piece with almost deep chocolate patina, with coppery highlights. Size: 7" x 12-5/8".
