Satsuma-inspired Flower Vase, Artist Signed. United States, 1919. The vase tall and substantial. The white-glazed ceramic over glazed in gilt, with finely drawn scene in black of two herons flanked by a wisteria, and another plant, whose leaves are in a lighter, greenish gold. Base underneath signed: "Bianca Smith, 1919." Some spots of rubbing, mostly limited to the rim. Height: 15".
