RIAA Certified Gold Record - Arlo Guthrie. Gold record for "Alice's Restaurant" with plaque reading: "Presented to Warner Bros. to commemorate the sale of more than one million dollars worth of the Reprise Records long-playing record album 'Alice's Restaurant'." Attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 21½" x 17½". Excellent condition. Frame has been changed. Everything else is original. "Alice's Restaurant," released in 1967, was Arlo's most famous song. It is a talking blues, satirical song aboaut the Vietnam War draft, lasting 18 minutes and 20 seconds.
