(Independent Studios) Leslie Howard and Francis X. Bushman. Two double-weight, vintage photographs: Leslie Howard, by Carl DeVoy, 13¾" x 10" with embossed photographer's stamp at lower right; verso has stamped credit for De Voy and Columbia Studios, stamped date-- "DEC 29 1933", and handwritten "Exclusive to Motion Picture." Fair; minor edge problems, flaking from embossed stamp, and paper remnants around edges of verso. Francis X. Bushman by Witzel, 14" x 11", with Witzel's impring in plate at lower right; verso has stamped credit and handwritten "Exclusive," plus notes about Bushman's films.Good; lower right tip missing and lower border damage; a couple of creases in right background. Both photos are encased in mylar for preservation.
