Orlando, Vittorio Emanuele (1860-1952) Italian prime minister ((1917-19); led the Italian delegation at the Paris Peace Conference (1919-200; president of the Chamber of Deputies (1919); resigned in protest against Fascist electoral fraud (1925). Printed image, 5½x3½", Inscribed and Signed on the back in Italian "Al Signor V.Y. Russell, con saluti cordiali, V.E. Orlando," (1919), with transmittal envelope from the Chamber of Deputies. A tear in the image passes just the "V." in the signature. Nicely housed in photo holder.
