Lot 4405

Great Britain. Crown, 1887. S.3921; ESC-297; Dav-107; KM-765. Victoria. Jubilee bust of Queen Victoria wearing small crown, facing left. Reverse: Traditional St. George and dragon design with date below. Only the faintest hint of toning, but this coin is bright and lively with a lot of original luster. Even the 1887 silver coins in high grade are beginning to disappear from the numismatic scene. This is a very appealing example of the crown struck to commemorate the 50th year of Victoria's reign. NGC graded MS-63.
Estimated Value $150 - 175.

Realized $168
