Lot 3276

1903 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 66. Lovely shades of blue and gold toning. Gleaming toned surfaces with a sparkle from the underlying luster that serves to rubber-stamp the firm Proof 66 grade it has been assigned by the grading service. All this is perhaps obvious from the photos, yet is even more impressive when the coin is held up close. What we need to emphasize also is that the strike is accustomed to show crisp and detailed devices for the Proof Morgans of this year, with the usual clear metal flows into the deepest recesses of the dies on both sides. A resounding Gem. Only 755 proofs struck. Pop 24; 8 in PF67. (PCGS # 7338) .
Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000.

Realized $6,240
