1942 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 68. White. The surfaces are untoned, oscillating with silvery color, and quite lustrous. Unlike the usual survivor with its diminished mirrors left by a toning haze, this handsome coin is very sharp from top to bottom, center to periphery. A spectacular reminder how beautiful these walking Liberty half dollar Proofs were the day they were first minted! Pop 117; 15 finer.
