1885 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. Delicate soft violet toning on both sides. Fresh, original, indeed glowing with satin luster devices atop smooth mirror fields, and fully radiant with a near-perfect strike. Precision strike on every device is, of course, the ideal with an 1880s Proof, and this piece shows no compromises. The new owner will undoubtedly be walking home on air, rejoicing over the strange chance that has led to his finding and having purchased this 1885 seated Liberty half dollar. 930 proofs minted.
