1828 Capped Bust Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-66. Very sharp impression and well toned. Iridescent satin to frosted luster resonates off of the surface of this virtually pristine Gem. If one were to take a poll, we'd see that the strike is nonstandard for the issue in being sharp with the excellent metal flows on both sides into the deepest die recesses; in other words, a very bold strike. The color is outstanding as well, with deepest shades of blue and iridescence toward the margin, leaving the center golden with crimson accents. Pop 7; none finer.
