1911-D $2.50 Indian. PCGS graded MS-62. Nicely toned. Popular key date. This example, illustrative of the choice quality only occasionally seen in its grade class, has iridescent orange gold surfaces and no spotting or heavy handling marks. Another thing, this too, displays an above-average strike on the headdress feathers and other main devices for 1911-D, which is unusual for the date, and not even a trace of soft detail at the bold mintmark. 55,680 coins minted (PCGS # 7943) .
