1907 Barber Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 68. Deep irridescent blue toning on the obverse with lighter shades of gold on the reverse. The surfaces are bright with glistening color and show none of the muting often seen on some toned coins. Regarding this date, the clearest details are found throughout the peripheral areas but are also encompassing the key centers which are crystal clear as noted in hair ribbon with LIBERTY incused upon it, the cap and leaves, as well as the eagle's feathers and central shield. NGC #650145-009. One of 575 Proofs minted. Pop 10; 1 finer in 68 Star.
Estimated Value $7,000 - 7,500.
The Greenhill Collection.
