1868 Two Cents. NGC graded Proof 66 Brown star. Lovely blue toning. A mirror-reflective Gem of the finest order for a bronze Two-cent Proof. A high degree of bright dancing luster penetrates the surface as it spins broadly beneath rich details of Longacre's simple yet well balanced and properly executed wreath and shield design. The designer placed two long arrows crossed behind the shield, with their points projecting above the ends of the scroll. Worth extra for the blue toning. 600 Proofs minted. Pop 1; none finer in Proof Brown.
