1876 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red. Light magenta in color. The surfaces are radiant and each side has a nice veneer of colorful coppery patina that whips and tosses as it alternates between lighter and darker shades. Sometimes on this issue, the devices that were left by the dies are short of the required precision due to weak die pressure, but we find the opposite to be the case here, everything about this 1876 cent is finely detailed, including the centers. 1,150 proofs minted.
