Lot 3873

1908 $5 Indian. PCGS graded MS-63. Well struck with lovely golden toning on both sides. A beautiful, frosty-gold 1908 initial-year date, there are no unsettling heavy bagmarks on either side. No more, no less, just as fully struck, as attractive, as you could ask for, with complete detail at the Indian's headdress feathers. Some of the later issues tend to be weak on these, especially the bottom 2 feathers (PCGS # 8510) .
Estimated Value $2,500 - 2,700.

Realized $4,198
