Lot 3002

1941-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Mostly untoned. The feathers closest the leg on the reverse are detached, a case of die polishing that removed some of the design in this area. Pleasant silver satin surfaces display lots of luster. As is typical for this 1941-S date, devices are dull in few areas, as struck, which the grading service has taken into consideration in assigning the grade. The upper skirt lines fade out while the central region of the obverse (Liberty's hand) and the eagle tend to be a little mushy as well. Yet this is a Gem MS65 example from its full blazing luster (PCGS # 6613) .
Estimated Value $800 - 900.

Realized $776
