1880-CC Morgan Dollar. Reverse of 1879. NGC graded MS-63. Vivid obverse toning. A lustrous Choice high-end 63 that has splendid crimson, purple, gold, and blue color with a particularly good strike. Given the proper amount of strike pressure, the coin is fully brought up by the CC-mint dies. We see no reason to add in a "however" here, no need to hedge or backtrack, since there are no soft areas as are so often found on this date, none at all! (PCGS # 7100) .
