1858 Liberty Seated Half Dime. PCGS graded MS-66. Attractive medium multi-color toning. A glittering pale golden and gray toned gem with intense luster, a lovely strike, and eye appeal that just won't quit! Pop 38; 11 in 67; 1 in 68.

In 1858, 10 years after the California Gold Rush, "Pike's Peak or Bust" became the cry of a new generation gold seekers heading for what today is Denver, Colorado to strike it rich. Silver, too, was on everyone's mind, much of the new discoveries being minted into coins such as this handsome little half dime (PCGS # 4367) .
