Lot 1540

1911 Barber Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Nice light golden toning. It is a long way round the mountain since the halcyon pre-war year 1911, and a lot has happened. But we can cut across to the finish by saying that this handsome fresh MS64 retains its original bloom off the dies with just a smidgen of color. The design areas are all well impressed by the dies, as well, which serves to increase its value in the eyes of the collector (PCGS # 6521) .
Estimated Value $1,100 - 1,200.

Realized $920
