1855-D $5 Liberty. Large D. NGC graded AU-55. Plenty of luster remains with a very nice portrait of Liberty. Highly lustrous. The light greenish gold surfaces are particularly attractive in the fields. A respected find above Extremely Fine; the date is typically encountered in Very Fine. At the About Uncirculated level, the present 1855-D ranks as among the very finest certified pieces. How fortunate we are to offer this coin, which sits nicely in the Condition Census for the date.
