1911-D $2.50 Indian. NGC graded MS-61. Lightly toned. Satiny rather than heavy-grade mint frost and smooth yellow-gold to orange-gold color. Struck with controlled precision throughout, there is nice but not quite 100% detail in the feathers and ruffled front of the headdress; also, a thin faint hairline is evident through the top part of the headdress and across the upper field to Y of LIBERTY. Mintage: 55,680. Pop 504 (PCGS # 7943) .
