(The Beatles) Handbill for John, Paul, George & PETE. Extremely rare 5 x 8" handbill, one of the few extant from their first year with the name "The Beatles." The handbill is entitled "Meet The Beatles," (the title of their first U.S. album) and urges "Jive Fans" to come and see Paul, John, George, and Pete. Pete Best was the Beatles' early drummer, who would be let go on August 16, 1962 and replaced by Ringo Starr. The group was appearing "every Saturday at Aintree Institute" in Liverpool. Red print on cream paper. Folded twice with a bit of foxing. An exceptional, early Beatles handbill.
