Gore, Al (1948 -) Vice president of the United States (1993-2001). Typed Letter Signed on "Office of the Former Vice Presdent" letterhead, 1p, 10¼"x7", n.p., 2001 Mar. 15, thanking a former classmate at St. Albans for a t-shirt, one of 50 created after the controversial 2000 presidential election. One of the t-shirts is framed with the letter. Making reference to the irregularities involving the infamous Palm Beach "butterfly" ballot, the t-shirt avoids any confusion by showing Gore as the only choice for November 7, 2004. Framed to an overall size of 17"x29½". Excellent condition.
