Austria. 3 Taler Klippe, 1626 (Graz). Dav-A3107 var. 80.8 grams. Ferdinand II. Laureate head right. Reverse: Crowned arms in Order chain. Mounted and repaired in the corners. Close study reveals a few unimportant marks, steely toning accentuates the wealth of fine detail. This 3.5mm thick multiple klippe taler is reportedly unique, and its great rarity is suitably matched by a dramatic pedigree. Extremely Fine.
