Great Britain. 'Fine' Sovereign, ND. S.2529; Fr-209. Elizabeth I, 1558-1603. Fifth issue, 1583-1600, Gold Sovereign of Thirty Shillings. The mint mark tun signifies that this magnificent coin was struck in the early 1590's, just a few years after the Spanish Armada. Superb condition, fully round and struck in a large flan. A combination of a rare mint mark and top quality make this a irreplaceable rarity. NGC graded AU-55.
