Lot 1368

1883 Hawaiian Dollar. NGC graded AU-58 PQ. Davenport-430; KM-7. We feel this specimen is Uncirculated and on a better day, it may have graded MS-61 or 62. It is sharply struck with all hair detail on the obverse sharp and bold. The reverse is equally detailed and unworn. Virtually full mint luster remains, this nicely toned in silvery gray and golden russet. Hawaiian dollars in this grade are rare and of interest to American collectors and world crown collectors seeking the largest silver coin of each country. Population of only 18, with 49 finer.
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,000.

Realized $2,933
