1796 Liberty Cap Half Cent. With pole. PCGS graded Fine-15. A well struck example with lots of detail for the grade. The surfaces are a uniform slightly glossy dark chocolate brown. Struck on a far better than average planchet with just a little granularity and minimal verdigris, mostly visible on the reverse. A rare and coved issue that is always in demand. PCGS has graded only 19 examples in all grades (PCGS # 1027) .
